Karry Kofr

Karry Kofr played in the Tulsa band, Promise with members Rickey Ray, Doc Bowery, Linda Scudder, Jerome Royce Campbell, Dave Barby and David Keen. In the late 70s, Promise frequently played at Tom and Don Bowmar's Cedar Creek Saloon at 11th and Lewis in Tulsa, and at the Tsa-La-Gi Amphitheater in Tahleuqah, The Prairie Breeze in Disney, among other venues in NE Okla.

She later played in Group Therapy, with members Gary Nicks, Rick Tegtmeier, Steve Tracy, Rickey Ray and David Blue. Karry , Rickey Ray and Gary Nicks were the principal songwriters. Group Therapy played all the festivals (Mayfest, Sunfest, Rooster Days, et al) and performed at other venues along Tulsa's Brookside. The band was together for about 3 years and recorded a fantastic album. The band later changed its name to Inde Skies and put out a CD of the 6 songs that Karry and Gary wrote. One of them; Karry's "River Song" appears on "Songs For The Illinois River".
